Hi, i’m Paul Odumu, this is my story
My first win was when I got to know her name… ”Ngufan”, Sorry, “Queen Ngufan Of Odumu Dynasty”. My second win was when we started preaching the gospel together…

STEPPING OUT WITH MY QUEEN ON A SILVER APPAREL…
How Marvelous is our God that He put this song on my lips… He planned my life according to His Will and Purpose right from the
start. Sometimes it looks scary, sometimes it seems impossible, and sometimes I feel stuck, but His Promises remain True. My
story became a fun-filled one, with a lot of lessons, after letting God take the Wheel. Here it goes…
A twist permitted by God caused my life history to revolve around One True individual, that He (God) gave me. I was filled with
hope and aspiration, eager to pursue my career squarely, and had everything planned out accordingly as I sat for my final exams
at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jos. It turned out that I failed one course, which got all those plans rearranged. I had to
retake that course which cost me some extra months to graduate, then applied for my internship program at NKST Christian
Hospital, Mkar, in Gboko LGA, Benue State, Nigeria, which was initially not my choice.

I got there, settled down, and started working in full force, learning and delivering my services efficiently with God's word on my lips to share with anybody. I noticed an Angel in human form with a rare beauty delivering the same services as I was. I stole a quick glance at her when she was not looking to confirm what I saw and thought within me that maybe God sent her for an assignment. “What if I'm the assignment…?”, My heart asked. “I pray to be her assignment”... I replied, with a smile on my face.
She walked around, emitting God's presence on every step, making me stare at her always, only to find out that she lived opposite my apartment. She loved God and made it obvious to the whole world, and somehow, I felt something for her, and the urgency to talk to her, which pushed me closer. I felt like there is more I'm yet to know about her; a journey that we two may have to make together and an obligation we owe each other. “Maybe she’s my wife,” I thought…recalling that sometime in 1993, a prophetess had told me that I would meet my wife where I'm going… “Maybe, that's her prophecy coming true. Well, God has the final say”, I concluded.

Till death do us part...
My first win was when I got to know her name… ”Ngufan”, Sorry, “Queen Ngufan of Odumu Dynasty”. My second win was when we started preaching the gospel together…and the winning continues. I had a vision about us ministering together, which made me seek God’s face in prayers for His direction and the counsel of my Church Elders. They gave me a positive reply that made me Propose to her and got a “Yes” for an answer. Don't think it's simple because it came with a lot of hard work and self-discipline to win her heart, coupled with being true to my words and believing God's word. Finally, I've found My Missing Rib…
I set out to be her Gentleman, assuring her that we are made for each other, and stood my ground when I found out that she was a sickler. Her dad made some remarks about her health and our tribe difference, but I assured him of my commitment to her, and that “My God Can Heal Every Disease…”One year later, after my NYSC, we walked down the aisle on November 15th, 1997, confirming the reign of My Queen Officially. I've lost count of God's blessings on our side after our wedding till now and it's never-ending.

Love is an action word, and just like the Bible instructed, “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church…”; I started disseminating my duties to her. I made her my topmost priority,
especially when she is not strong, and wont mind cancelling my appointments to attend to her. I will administer the right drugs to get her back to health and pray to God for her total healing.
Little did I know that she is an embodiment of healing until God confirmed it after our prayers, saying, “ I WILL HEAL HER, PUT MY HIGH HEALING POWER IN HER AND USE HER TO
HEAL OTHERS”. This happened in Kogi state in the year 2000, and while in Jos in 2006, God declared that He would have the S factors in her genotype changed to the right one… All His Promises have remained True, leaving me in awe.
Our home experienced an Angelic visitation in 2021. God sent His Angel to heal her because He (God) has remarked her name and will always manifest anytime to do what Only “Him” can
do. I recall my wife having a vision where someone with my voice said to her, “It is your turn to testify of your healing”… Ever since then, God has given me reasons to strongly trust Him for her total healing, and My Wife will always have me by her side.
I wasn’ t found lacking in her intellectual growth. Seeing how ethusiastic she was about education, I had her further her studies in the United Kingdom, further studies in Nursing in the USA, and a BSC still in the USA. I strongly believe that “TO EDUCATE A WOMAN IS TO EDUCATE A NATION…” Now my family is basking under the aura of her intelligence. What I did for her is just the tip of the iceberg of what I got in return. She has totally transformed me to be a better version of myself making me yearn for more…
First, She’s my Peace… She made my house a Home and gave birth to children for me. She remains submissive to me as we train our children to be disciples of Christ together. Her tasty nourishing meals make me always run home to eat, and I enjoy eating with her, so I have no need of eating outside. Our Heart is One, while our vision and focus always align together. I want the world to know that she is mine, that’s why you will always see us in uniform, especially on occasions. She has had me glued to her as we radiate in the beauty of Oneness in marriage.
She is my best prayer partner, a prophetess, and a visioner. I term her “God’s Favorite” because her presence will always make a difference.

For 25 years now, anything we ask for as a couple in prayer is done by God…Our journey to Jos for my Residency training program in Family Medicine at ECWA Evangel Hospital (now Bingham University Teaching hospital) is a product of divine direction we received together in prayers. Her faith in God is strong and unwavering.
I call her “My Queen” and have a Throne built for her in my heart. She assumes her role as the mother of the house, takes good care of me and our kids, invests her gifts as a teacher of God’s word and Prophetess in our family and beyond, and has us directed by her valuable counsel which has saved me countlessly from the plans of the enemies. I don’ t know where I would be without her. God gives her Divine counsel and she puts it to use always.

Her input was also seen in the progress of our NGO, Odumehaje Christian Medical Mission (OCMM), which we started in 1998, as she single handedly handled the task of creating our logos, website, and social media platforms, publicizing our works and canvassing for volunteers and sponsors. It was her efforts that got us to the point of registering our international wing, “The Helping Team International, which was registered in 2021. She gave her all for the progress of these organizations without receiving any salary and has kept it running till now.

Her Optimism is second to none…She has zero tolerance for low self-esteem and imperfection. She encourages me to go for the best. It was her encouragement that made me further train in my field, and qualified me as a Family Physician and a Member of the West African College of
Physicians. By her unwavering support, I’m also a graduate of the Institute of Management Specialists, from the UK. She sees me beyond what I think of myself and has my back always.
Her benevolence got her a special spot in my mum’s heart and my family members. They adore her, because she always shows care and support to them without asking for anything in return. She raised my status in the family, although I’m the last born of my mum, her good behavior has earned me much respect in my family. She is best friends with my mum, and a true giver. She gives to both the needy and the rich, and urges me to do the same.

Her neatness baffles me, and as a trained Nurse and Midwife, she has this calmness that assures her patients that they will be fine. Her courage in the face of danger gives many hope.
When she preaches the Word, you will see God’s spirit flow with it and do marvelous things in people’s lives. Whenever she is in control, I am rest assured that God is there and everything will be fine…
I can go on and on counting my blessings all to the Glory of God, but one thing is sure, ”She is Still Mine and Mine Forever…” Looking at her now after 25 years of living together, I still feel a sense of obligation toward her. I can’t stop loving Her, especially now that we are 25 years younger. I hope that God will have an apartment for us to live together in heaven.
If I’m permitted to rewrite a Bible verse, I will go straight to Proverbs 31: 10 and have the question “Who can find a Virtuous woman?” answered by saying, “Paul Odumu has found one”… so that people will know that I’m blessed. My Queen is the real definition of what that Bible verse said. Long Live My Queen.

My Assurance To You My Queen is that I’m here for you… I will forever be by your side…
Our children will love you… I will always be the man you fell in love with… Age is just a number because I will forever remind you that you are Beautiful… We will travel the world together, preaching the Gospel and doing God’s Work… With you by my side, we will raise Disciples for Christ in many nations of the world… And with you by my side, We will get our Golden Robe…
I LOVE YOU, MY QUEEN…PLEASE, LET ME BE YOUR MAN AGAIN, AND FOREVER.
Sometimes it seems not enough to tell her that I love her… I know she believes me, maybe, you reading this can also help me tell My Queen Martha Ngufan Odumu that “Paul Odumu Loves Her Always”.
My Utmost Gratitude Goes To God, The Father Of Our Lord Jesus Christ…
Thank You Father For The Silver Gift.
Cheers to our New Rung together!
”Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.” – Proverbs 30 vs 10 – 12
